Stamp Out Hunger: Leave nonperishable food by your mailbox this morning (Sat, May 8)

Although the economy is slowly improving, there are still so many struggling to make ends meet. This means that many families with kids, seniors, folks living with disabilities, and others have to choose between eating and paying their bills.

We can help! Today (Saturday, May 8), your letter carrier will pick up nonperishable food you leave by your mailbox. This food will then be distributed to local food banks to help feed the hungry.

It’s such a small act and yet can do so much. Please join me in contributing to today’s food drive!
